Welcome to Lala Land by Rooted Wellness ("Service," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our wellness application, website, and related services. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Lala Land by Rooted Wellness, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You will use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws
  • All information you provide is accurate and complete

2. Description of Service

Lala Land by Rooted Wellness is a digital wellness platform providing:

  • Daily affirmations and spiritual guidance
  • Angel number interpretations and tracking
  • Journaling tools for personal growth
  • Meditation and mindfulness resources
  • Nutrition and exercise tracking
  • Community features and wellness challenges

3. Account Registration & Security

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Not share your account credentials with others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in suspicious activity.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription Tiers

We offer tiered subscription plans (Seedling, Rooted, Forever Rooted) with varying features and pricing. Current pricing is displayed at the time of purchase.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on file
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may offer refunds at our discretion for billing errors or service issues. Contact us within 7 days of the charge for consideration.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (journal entries, mood logs, etc.). By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your content to provide the Service
  • Create anonymized, aggregated insights for service improvement
  • Display your content back to you within the app

You are responsible for your content and agree not to post content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
  • Harassing, threatening, or promotes violence
  • Spam, misleading, or fraudulent
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Rooted Wellness LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

"Lala Land," "Rooted Wellness," and associated logos are trademarks of Rooted Wellness LLC. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

The "Rooted Wellness × House of Racha" collaboration and associated designs are jointly owned and protected intellectual property.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results from using the Service will meet your expectations
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOTED WELLNESS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruption or computer damage
  • Cost of substitute services
  • Any damages exceeding the amount paid by you in the past 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rooted Wellness LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability).

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms and changing the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
